| Mary Mary, Donnie McClurkin, Israel Houghton and Third Day were some of the big winners of the 52nd Grammy Awards held on Sunday 31st January 2010 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Mary Mary scooped Best Gospel Song while Donnie won in the Best Gospel Performance category. Third Day took the Best Rock or Rap Album beating Da T.R.U.T.H and The Tonic, Decypher Down and rock band Red. Israel walked away with Best Pop / Contemporary Gospel Album.
